Unexpectedly, but behold a prophecy of a replacement, a prophecy of change. The prophecy says a better leader shall be found by the people. And the people will follow this natural born leader naturally. The people shall love his democracy. They would fall for his decentralized power shift, how the future leader would put the power back into the hands of the people. The prophecy states clearly that the power shift shall not be by a coup, or head-on election. No, it will just happen naturally. The people will merely naturally stop listening to the voice of the old tyrant. They would love the way the new young king does things, how he speaks and his obvious future plans. Of all, they loved the part that the people will find their voices.
However, the prophecy simply says the new future king has been born to and he belongs to an age group in a certain territory in the empire. What would the old, sit-tight king do? He did like king Herod of the Bible!!! Remember the story? He made laws, took steps to make sure this new-born does not thrive. He legislated that every young man born in that territory must be sent to slavery. He made every profession from that area illegal. He does not like his foreseeable future of being no longer feared, useful, revered and that he would lose the power to control the fate of the people.
Its a natural instinct. He's protecting his power, his kingdom, his inheritance. Hence, he started publicizing the flaws the the imminent democracy. And eventually when he has identified the future king in person of an influential young man, he started persecuting him. This is not strange. the tyrant invalidates everything the young man does. He calls him criminally minded, imbecile and unnatural. He commanded all his generals to arrest and detain him, or even kill on sight, anywhere the future king is found. He accused him of planning a coup, of treason. He says his idea of leadership would breed criminality, all to make the people lose interest in him. The old king plants fear in the mind of the people that under the new king, they would lose their apparent security because of abundant criminality. The old king would never accept or publicly acknowledge good intention of the future born leader.
He even went to the length of establishing a pseudo-democratic sub-committee right inside his military regime, just to mimic the future change, and draw people away from the truth. But it fails.
And because the people could see better as they get more enlightened, the REBELLION was born, fueled primarily by the old king's all-out war against the innocent, more enlightened young man. People were forced to look closer and yes they foresee the opposite of what he tyrant was publicizing. They saw change. Even though the tyrant proclaimed martial law and ban on this young future king, the people, especially the younger generation, the youths, know the truth, they felt empowered even more, to secretly follow and build more loyalty to the future king. Secretly, but they know the prophecy will soon happen. Change is constant.
Eventually? Well, its a prophecy from an indisputable source. Prophecies from that source never fails. The name of the prophet is CHANGE. Change never fails. Change prophecies may delay, but they happen.
HOW RELEVANT TO CRYPTO?
Let's define some terms. Who is the King? And who are his Generals?
You know the answers, as far as the financial system is concerned, don't ya?
This is fact: its not really the commercial banks that have problems with crypto trading, its the apex bank. The apex bank is in so much control, a powerful position it wont like to lose, at least not soon. Its like that the world over.
Why is crypto a threat?
Well, the crypto-currency system is a prominent part of a system termed DeFi (Decentralized Finance). The DeFi in all its essence is a huge threat to the authority, control and power the Central Banks wields. If the DeFi comes into full scale adoption, the CB will lose all its power and control because the power will be decentralized and the people will be in charge.
Decentralized finance, or 'DeFi', is an emerging digital financial infrastructure that theoretically eliminates the need for a central bank or government agency to control or approve financial transactions.

Decentralized finance (DeFi) is an emerging financial technology based on secure distributed ledgers similar to those used by cryptocurrencies. The system removes the control banks and institutions have on money, financial products, and financial services.
Some of the key attractions of DeFi for many consumers are:
It eliminates the fees that banks and other financial companies charge for using their services.
You hold your money in a secure digital wallet instead of keeping it in a bank.
Anyone with an internet connection can use it without needing approval.
You can transfer funds in seconds and minutes.1
Key Takeaways
Decentralized finance, or DeFi, uses emerging technology to remove third parties in financial transactions.
The components of DeFi are stablecoins, software, and hardware that enables the development of applications.
The infrastructure for DeFi and its regulation are still under development and debate.
Yes, this democracy-like system has its own dangers. Any system could be misused. But rather than throw out the baby and the bathwater, it is rather important to learn more about the blockchain technology, and DeFi and what positive powers the cryptocurrencies truly hold. And how positively they already are, and would continue to influence the future.
Remember two things the old King did:
1. He commanded his generals to nab the young future king. CB ordered banks to close all crypto accounts and stifle out any sign of life in the new system. They don't want crypto to thrive. Are they succeeding? Stats show that crypto adoption and trade, especially peer-to-peer, is huge and highest among young people, even Nigerians.
2. He created a pseudo-democracy of his own - which failed. Tell me, has the eNaira been widely accepted?
Its obviously not the banks that have problem with crypto. They are simply following the king's order. else....
Now, I would like to take you all on a global tour into the land of the DeFi, and see the future possibilities the King doesn't want us to see. Yes, we will mention the possible dangers of the DeFi, but the choice will belong to the people - to choose if benefits would outweigh any possible threats.
Stay tuned.
