The first deadline was 31st January 2023 after which the CBN says the old Nigeria Naira denominations N200, N500 and N1000 will cease to be legal tenders. This deadline was extended till February 10. Only the N200 notes were given special extension till April 10 2023.
After all these shifts and drags, reports show that the old notes still abound in town.
I personally still have about N147k left with me and I'm so confused how to go about it.
