Today, I will like to clarify the transaction dynamism of the Azà Gems for better understanding.
1. The Azà Gems
Each gem is currently equivalent to the Ngn. No difference. So, if you have 100k Gems, that's equivalent to 100k Ngn.
2. Gèms Wallet
Every Azaman on Azà Hub has his own Gems wallet where the normal Gèms are stored. Your wallet can be found here aza/
Gems stored here remain stagnant as they do not yield interest. You can spend from here to pay for anything. And if eligible, you can trabsfer to other members.
3. Gèms Transfer/ Send
If permitted, members can send Gems to other members. Just like normal banking transfers. Here, on the Transfer form, you just state the correct nickname of the beneficiary, state the amount you want to send without any comma, and send. The amount stated will be deducted from the sender wallet balance and added to the beneficiary wallet. The description field will appear in the logor wallet history of both members for reconciliation.
4. Gems Vàult
The Aza Gems Vault is like a fixed inner bank account on Azà Hub. For now, the minimum amount you can move to the Vault is 5k gems and minimum you can withdraw out into your wallet is 1k. The balance in your Vault account yields monthly interest.
5. Cashout/Withdrawal
You can cash out or withdraw the exact Ngn equivalent of your Gems into your local bank account. However, per Azà Hub policy, the minimum right nownis 5k. To withdraw 5k or more, simply click the Withdraw button in your wallet.
6. @AzaBank
(Official User)
The AzaBank user is the official Gems Capital account of Azà Hub. The balance in here, which is publicly available, represents Azà Hub’s tentative liquidity at any point in time.
The following constitute the balance in @AzaBank :
- Revenue generated from subscriptions payments by members go here
- Donations received in Gems form
- Equity Contribution by the Azà Hub founder/management to keep the community running
- Any other smaller revenues generated from fines (e.g warnings), refunds etc
Also, some expenditures go into the AzaBank account too, including, but not limited to:
- Rewards paid out to winners of contests
- Payments issued for approved articles
- Referral commisions 25% paid to Verified referrers
- And more.
We are updating the site software to cater for every penny, for accountability and transparency.
7. @AzaBankCashOut Official Account
The AzaBankCashout is the official account where all withdrawals/ cashouts are dumped. The balance here shows how much has been paid out to members who requested withdrawals into their respective local bank accounts. This symbolic account is a proof of transparency and reliability of our community.
8. Warnings and Fines
When members unrepentantly break the rules like posting rules and get issued warnings, this penalty automatically deducts 50 Gems from their Azà Gems wallet balance.
9. Automatic Posting Earning
Each comment posted automatically adds 5 Gems (for now) into wallet balance of the poster.
10. Automatic Referral Earning
Each time new members register through a member's referral link, 100 Gems get automatically added to balance of the referrer.
11. Azà Verified Packages Costs
Each package has its own cost. Some are free (Verified Volunteer). For those that have prices, the costs are in Gems and the applicant is expected to have the required balance before applying.
12. Gèms Purchase / Topup
For the purpose of quickly getting enough Gems for the payment of Verified Packages or to donate to support a cause or to donate to support Azà Hub, members cab officially buy the Gems. Procedure is stated in the Gèms Wallet page.
That's all for now.
Feel free to seek further clarification and/or ask questions.
