While most respondents want government to ban sports betting, doesn't it seem the government is prioritising profit over people?

The damages of sports betting go beyond the financial loss, it includes lost opportunities and Productivity of the addicts. Also the mental damages and loss of economic value. The rich owners of the casinos and betting companies keep getting richer at the detriment of the poor players.
