Children: Whose responsibility is their financial education: Parents? Teachers?

Children need, and take in a lot of education as they grow up. Academics are taught mostly in school. Morals majorly by parents and sometimes religions. And so on.

Now, how about financial education? Whose responsibility is it to teach our upcoming next generation financial education and literacy?

Is it the responsibility of parents? Or are schools supposed to inculcate this through teachers? Or is it the government's role? Or is it their own responsibility to learn up as they grow? Hmm...

I feel government should ensure school curriculum contain it. Was it deliberate?

So, I will say parents, teachers and government. :shade: :shade:

It is supposed to be the parents and even the parents can support one to an extent if one is not the only child that person won't have any choice than to sponsor himself/herself.

According to my understanding, I think parents are saddled with the responsibility to educate their children about financial literacy. This is so because, parents are the first and true teachers to their children in all cases.

When kids are well educated by their parents about money topics from their tender ages, they turn to make financial wise decisions in all their affairs.

I cannot agree less. I cannot trust my kids financial education to anyone else.
It starts with me.
