When it became N200 per dollar, I remember, we were bitterly complaining. We had hope. Little did we know we were just beginning.

Here we are today. The US Dollar exchanging for about N1,300! That's roof top!

The government and CBN have been using many firefighting approaches and artificial measures which are obviously not working as effectively as expected. Or at least they provide temporary halt but not a permanent cure.

How did we get here?
Is there an end to this soon?
Is there any hope for this falling Naira?

Please I need answers.

Yes, if we can depend less on imported products and truly grown our GDP. Let's manufacture and export more. That's the only hope. :laughs:

I think so too. The devaluation is alarming but alot of manufacturing of my own produce and export would do alot for our economy.
