At some point in very recent past, China boasted of about 75% of the world bitcoin mining. And then in August this year, this became past tense. China banned bitcoin mining, trade and all related. China, like Nigeria, plans launching its own digital currency, but always devoid of the decentralisation and privacy that standard cryptos offer.
