The Azaland Project is an Afrocentric EduFi Project - a Global Financial Literacy Advocacy Movement with primary focus on Africa.

We're leveraging the trio of:
1. Finance Literacy Education,
2. Gamification, and
3. The revolutionary Tokenization power of Blockchain Technology, to reposition financial literacy on the continent and beyond.
WHY FINANCIAL LITERACY?
Financial Literacy refers to the ability to understand and practically apply the basic fundamentals of financial concepts like savings, budgeting, safe investing, credit and others. We also regard it as the possession of the requisite knowledge, skills and behavioural traits that allow a person to continually make sound decisions regarding money.

According to a well referenced S&P survey, Africa scores the poorest globally as regards level of financial literacy of the people. And in continent itself, Nigeria, for example, is among the poorest scoring nations. This is a cause for concern. This needs to be addressed.
We uphold that there are many gains derivable if this is addressed using the right strategies: less financial mismanagement top-down, less frauds and scams, less crime, more productive population, more life fulfilment, better financial choices, less bad debts and much more.

To this end, The Azaland Project was born. This is a project of passion, competence and rich experience. As we shall highlight, the strategies and tools employed are carefully chosen to ensure lasting positive change in a sustainable fashion from generation to generation.
