GEEGPAY - REVIEWS
First, what is Geegpay?
According to the website, Geegpay is a revolutionary fintech app designed to meet the needs of freelancers, professionals and others wishing to receive payments from abroad. With Geegpay, you can automate invoicing and get paid faster by clients globally, while saving costs on fees with Geegpay global accounts. Also with Geegpay, it's easy to convert to your local currency at competitive exchange rates in minutes. You can send money and receive money from overseas, and spend globally with Geegpay virtual and physical cards.
In addition, Geegpay lets Africans easily set up virtual bank accounts in USD, GBP, and EUR to effortlessly accept payments from around the world. Plus, enjoy the convenience of a USD virtual debit card for your global expenses.
Well, those are the official claims as sourced from the internet. Now let's see how Geegpay ranks under the 5 major headings of our review:
How does Geegpay rank?
1. Technology: From my personal interaction with the app, I can confidently state that it is designed using latest industry standard technology with the look and feel of modern taste. Geegpay's tech team did amazing job as reflected in the responsiveness and intuitive interface as well as the speed with which the app executes commands.
2. Overall onboarding and user experience: From the moment I downloaded the app, the onboarding process is straightforward and easy. With basic information, you are good to go. There were no dead ends and unnecessary jargons. As the first impression, the onboarding process endeared me to this app. And when it was time to generate my USD account number, the process was seamless.
3. Usability (Functinality): Does the app do what it claims to do? The answer is... Yes. All the aforementioned functionality are ingrained in the app. None is in coming-soon state. You can create account in minutes. You KYC is super fast. Foreign currency accounts are approved in moments.
4. Security (Acclaimed and perceived): Security is an integral part of any fintech system, so any app that downplays Security is playing with people's money and inviting loss of revenue. As perceived having being built with state-of-the-art software technology, Geegpay has given security the priority it deserves talking of the app itself. How about user account authentication? Geegpay integrates biometrics in addition to 2FA, passwords and Pin system. A whole full suite.
5. Users' feedback: Well, while most of the above may sound theoretical, let's take a look at several users' feedback on App stores and Twitter as our main sources of real user feedback. We will also pick out how well the company responded (or not at all) to the user feedback. All these will form the basis of our opinion about Geegpay's customer support and responsiveness.
Play Store Reviews:
On the Google Play Store, Geegpay has an average total rating of 4.3 out of 5. T 4.3, I can say that's a fairly excellent result owing to the fact that these are verified ratings submitted by real users whose experiences may have been affected bybeven factors outside Geegpay's control.
From the Play store, e have some fantastically excellent ratings as shown, and as expected, but critically low ratings as stated. But something stands out in all: Geegpay took the time to respond to virtually everybody, with good or subpar rating. What an exemplary strategy. My only hope is that Geegpay could continue with that trend.
Sample good rating from Play Store:
Our review won't be complete if we don't mention some below par ratings too.
Overall, I strongly believe Geegpay has done very well as far as ratings are concerned on Play Store.
On Social Media?
Yes we agreed to use X (formerly Twitter) for our case study.
First, the first green tick for Geegpay is that the handle is verified. An unverified handle puts the funds of customers at risk due to scammers who would do everything possible to clone the support handle.
Finally, how about users' feedback on X, a sample social media?
I must confess that Geegpay had done well. Take a look. We took many samples but they are all positive.
CAN GEEGPAY SUSTAIN THIS?
Again, we only hope Geegpay can be consistent and maintain and sustain this fantastic service standard now and in future.
With this, we have come to the end of this review of Geegpay.
