Having been halved, what next for Bitcoin, and Altcoins?

As of April 20, 2024, approximately 19.4 million Bitcoin have already been mined. This figure representes 92.38% of Bitcoin's final supply of 21 million which was cleverly ingrained in its source code programming my its maker. SatoshiNakamoto.
For each block since the last halving in 2020, miners were rewarded with 6.25 new BTC. However, this reward has now halved to 3.125 BTC, heralding a new era of Bitcoin economics.
What does this immediate future hold for BTC and the alts in the light of this new development?
