I believe money contributes to happiness when it helps us meet basic needs.

However, if money is the only source of one's happiness in life, then the person must be ready for swings in happiness like the stock market price swings.

Meanwhile, not only does earning more money make people happier, but it also protects them from things which might make them unhappier.

So, money can make you happy. My opinion.

But please don't look up to money as your only source of joy.

Oh, absolutely not! Money is just a constant source of misery and despair. Who needs happiness when you can drown in an ocean of dollar bills and suffer from the burden of financial success? The more money you have, the more unhappy and discontented you become. Happiness is overrated; just give me a vault full of money any day! 😉

On a serious note,
Money can contribute to happiness by meeting basic needs, providing opportunities, reducing stress, and giving a sense of control. However, the correlation between increasing wealth and happiness tends to diminish once basic needs are met. Other non-material factors like relationships and personal fulfillment also influence happiness. A balanced approach that considers financial well-being and other sources of fulfillment is crucial for overall happiness and life satisfaction.
An eye for an eye left thousands blind,
Remember that.........

Thanks for the opinions. Money sure contributes to joy. But it shouldn't be the primary source of one's joy. :loveit:
