Job Title: Customer Support Officer

Bumpa is seeking a Customer Support Officer to provide timely, friendly, and professional assistance to its growing community of merchants. The ideal candidate is customer-centric, tech-savvy, and skilled at resolving issues effectively.




Key Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, or phone.

Troubleshoot product-related issues and escalate when necessary.

Guide new merchants through onboarding and product setup.

Ensure prompt and professional resolution of complaints.

Record and report customer feedback to the product team.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve user experience.

Maintain accurate documentation of interactions and issues.





Qualifications and Requirements

HND or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in a Customer Support or Customer Success role (preferably in tech, e-commerce, or fintech).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency with customer support tools (Freshdesk, Zendesk, Intercom, or similar).

Good knowledge of CRM systems and online business tools.

Empathy, patience, and attention to detail.





Preferred Skills

Experience working in startup or tech environments.

Understanding of online payments and e-commerce operations.

Ability to analyze support trends and suggest improvements.

Familiarity with merchant relationship management.
