AFCON 2023 - The Africa Cup of Nations, sometimes referred to as the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations for sponsorship reasons, or simply AFCON or CAN, is the main international men's association football competition in Africa. It is sanctioned by the Confederation of African Football, and was first held in 1957.

Hosted by nation Ivory, the 2023 AFCON begins on January 14 and ends on February 12, with the final scheduled to take place at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. The 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) is scheduled to be hosted by Ivory Coast, with the tournament starting on January 14 and ending on February 12.

The 2023 AFCON opened with flamboyant ceremony as Nigerian musician Yemi Alade delivered outstanding stage performance.

In total, 24 countries and Nations partake, grouped into 6 as shown.

Host Opening Match
The host nation, Ivory Coast opened the fixtures against Guinea yesterday 14th, winning 2-0. Nigeria, in same group A will face Equatorial Guinea today.

Egypt vs Mozambique at 6pm
