Let me make that clearer:
ADVOCACY - WHAT IT MEANS
To ADVOCATE for something means to speak, plead, or argue in favor of it, to publicly support or suggest an idea, development, or way of doing something, to actively act in support of. support or urge by argument; recommend publicly.
Azaland's mission is not just to teach or enlighten people about financial literacy, but to also advocate for it. Advocacy is a step further.
VITAL INGREDIENT OF ADVOCACY: STRONG BELIEF
Now, I must make clear that you cannot "advocate for" something you do not strongly believe in. However, you can still "teach" something you DON'T even believe in. This is what differentiates our Hub from other platforms that merely teach financial literacy.

I may not believe in the Theory of Evolution or the Big Bang Theory, yet I can teach it in school, even emerging as the best teacher. However, for me to advocate for Evolution, I must believe in it strongly. I must be a believer in Darwin's Theories, I must be able to bring those ideas to life. Even give my life for it.

Azàland believes strongly that KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. We believe that financial knowledge is even greater power in our age.
A NEW WARFARE
Gone may be those days when warfare would be all about ballistic missiles and bombs and guns. The age we are has witnessed many technological advancement and financial advancement too such that financial warfare could even be more impacting than ballistic missiles. Why do the western powers believe so much in sanctioning 'erring' nations? If a nation's financial system collapses, that alone can ruin the nation and throw it into chaos. Finance. Money. Note that.
NEW SLAVERY
Why are you stuck with a boss or company that does not value you? Why do you keep at a job you hate so much? The money. Am I right? If you had your way, would you continue? Absolutely not.
Experience has shown that the way our economy is run, how many companies manage their HR and emolument systems and other things including our education system are well thought out to keep us all in the cage. The make-it-spend-it cage.
That reminds me of the book: RICH DAD POOR DAD. Read it.
Our economy and education system are such that they program us into the rat race cycle, a form of slavery. We need to start doing things differently. We need to empower ourselves. Someone can take your job from you but cannot take your knowledge. Break free now!
